About Tina

Tina has been a mainstay at the Rancho Riding Club for almost twenty years. Her company, Caldwell Dressage, offers the finest classical German dressage instruction available. Her experience as a trainer and a rider is unparalleled in the discipline. In addition to training, instruction, and competition preparation, Caldwell Dressage also assists their clients with sales and acquisitions.

Tina’s resúmé boasts some of the most influential dressage masters of recent times, including Klaus Balkenhohl, Robert Dover, Dietrich von Hopfgarten, Ulla Salzgeber, and Guenter Seidel.

Despite maintaining a rigorous showing schedule, Tina can often be found on the grounds of the RRC, helping her students of all ages and experience levels to develop their dressage skills and train for their own achievements.

About Kim

Kim Cullip has had a love for horses since the age of six. Her hard work & dedication was rewarded with many championships throughout her showing career. In 2004, Kim moved to San Diego to attend UCSD, where she captained the Equestrian Team & attended the intercollegiate nationals. After graduating in 2008 with a degree in Management Science, Kim began working as a full-time assistant at Royal Oak Stables, where she learned of her gift for bringing out the best in the young riders.

Over a decade later, Kim is the new proud owner of Royal Oak, where she oversees a team of knowledgeable instructors, trainers, and grooms, all dedicated to helping children fall in love with horses and riding. Her unique and creative approach, which incorporates longer lessons, group riding activities, and learning both on & off the horse, fosters a lifelong love for the sport.

Kim and her team love working at the Rancho Riding Club because the atmosphere is inviting to children and the families, and the facilities have all the amenities required to operate a successful show level Hunter/Jumper program, which was recently awarded Trainer of the Year in 2018.

About Nicole

Nicole, a San Diego native, has been riding horses since the age of four. She showed on the national level as a teenager, and won several rodeo queen pageants in her twenties. These days, her clients bring home the national and world titles.

Patience, understanding, compassion, and safety are the cornerstones of Nicole’s training philosophy. Each of her students work at their own pace to develop horsemanship and life skills, and range in skill from new riders looking to overcome anxiety and confidence issues to advanced competitors seeking to perfect their techniques.

Nicole’s company, Premier West Stables, operates from the Rancho Riding Club, and offers full training, full service horse care, summer camps, and lesson programs for riders of all ages and experiences in western riding and saddle seat. Nicole specializes in the Morgan horse, but teaches all breeds.
