Royal Oak Stables just finished a extremely successful week at the GSDHJA Championships at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. They brought 12 horses & ponies with very high expectations & did not disappoint, returning with 8 Champions & 11 Reserves & 99 ribbons in total. All 12 riders were at least in the top 4, with many earning a Champion or Reserve, despite extremely large class sizes & very stiff competition. 

Highlights included Juliana Sapp winning her second Mini Prix aboard Whisper. Julia Ventura & Bella won Reserve in the Mod Jr/Am Jumpers in only their 3rd time in the division. Madison Drum & Archie were clean & fast in every round, which earned them consistent top ribbons. Faith DiMaria & Boss were Champions of the Low Children’s Hunters. Peyten Seltzer & Lovey were stellar all week, winning a Champion & 6 Reserves in the Crossrails & Short Stirrup. Isabelle Khoury rode great & won 2 Champions & 2 Reserves on Charming in the Crossrails. And our 5 new Walk Trotters Heather Weckel, Carly Rodriguez, Mayannah Crevoiserat Tiffany Swanson, & Victoria Bou were fantastic. They ribboned in every class & even earned 3 champions!
