The clinic will begin at 8am. There will be a one hour break for lunch where folks can visit with Bryan. Things will then continue until 5:00. Bryan will be working with riders one on one.

Spectators are encouraged to bring a chair, lunch and beverage. The cost is $25/day to spectate.

Thermal Week 6 was a fantastic week for Team Westwood. Blue Ribbon Winners were Beth Ugoretz on her wonderful horse, Fortunate, in the Adult Amatuer Hunters. Also in the Blue Ribbon group was Dianne Pattison’s Got Attitude, jumping clear rounds in the 5 Year Old Jumpers. Pam Theodosakis was a Primary color in all three of her Adult Amateur Hunter classes on Happy Hour.  A great way to wrap up a very fun circuit.  We had many winners throughout the circuit.  Casani Z winning a Low Amateur Owner Hunter Classic with Sybil Rose.  Julie Hancock Champion in the A/O Hunters on Willow CBF.  Within Reach lived up to his name, Champion in the Low A/A jumpers with his very proud owner and rider, Stephanie Jensen.  Julie Hancock’s Catch Me couldn’t be caught in one of the 1.20 M. Jumper classes of over 60 entries. Now after a couple weeks home at the Riding Club we are ready to go again.It’s off to Blenheim in San Juan Capistrano for some jumping on the grass.

Royal Oak Stables finished out 2015 with new horses & new members adding to our show team, an ultra fun Game Day, & a very successful Jingle Bell Horse Show.

We would first like to congratulate the following riders on their new purchases or leases: Liz Seltzer & Nelson, Faith DiMaria & Flynn, Isabelle Khoury & Dolly, Heather Weckel & Boo, Sadie Debin & Boss, Tiffany Swanson & Jewel, Mayannah Crevoiserat & Cody, and Grace Miller & Paris. We look forward to the new bonds and wish you all much success in the upcoming 2016 show year!

In November, Royal Oak students and staff got to let loose with a Game Day Fun Show. There were prizes for a wide variety of races and challenges for all skill levels. Highlights included a No-Stirrup High Jump, Ride & Run, Musical Buckets, Bean Bag Race, and many, many more fun & hilarious games!

In December, the show team braved the rain & mud and found success at the annual Jingle Bell Horse Show at Del Mar Horsepark. Every rider looked confident in either a new division or on their new mount. And every rider returned home with a ribbon won! A fantastic start to the 2016 show season. We are very much looking forward to what 2016 has in store!
